This message spoke loudly to me. My wife died 14 months ago. We renewed our vows in June of 23 in celebration of 25 years of marriage. Life was great. No storm clouds in sight. She broke her tibia 2 days after her 54th birthday…because of her myotonic muscular dystrophy she had several health issues. I honored my vows and took care of her at home until she needed the skills of a nursing home. Even then I was obedient to pray for her and visit her often. We had every prayer chain I could get her on praying for her. She never saw healing on this side of heaven. She went home to be with Jesus on 1-3-24. I wondered where God was but, he’s watched out for me ever since that night and has been my anchor in the storm. As I’ve wept he’s wept. I rejoice that Kirsten is healed and whole. I would rather have not been thrust into the role of being a widower but in the eye of the storm Jesus has remained in control.

Yesterday, my friend Catherine spontaneously went to a worship service in her city's mission. She was very overwhelmed by the beautiful music and she realised how close the people were to God. I told her she could get that far as well. I did not lead her in a prayer via messenger, but told her she could ask God for this and that we as His sheep can hear His voice.
