PSA: a 911 call and CPR should be done simultaneously; have your phone on speaker while performing breaths. Do not hesitate to jump into CPR while on the phone with 911, those moments are crucial to avoid brain damage. You need to act fast in these situations, too many times I’ve seen/heard of people standing around on the phone during an overdose instead of acting accordingly and possibly saving their life/functioning brain. Don’t be afraid or grossed out to touch people who need CPR, hopefully your adrenaline puts those thoughts aside but these days people are very detached.
