B.I. swinging at CP3 makes me lean yes to bringing him back. 😅

The biggest mistake the Lakers made
was trading for Westbrook. Losing Caldwell-Pope and Kuzma really hurt
Kuzma was a streaky scorer, but a good rebounder. Caldwell-Pope was a tremendous perimeter defender and a
good catch and shoot or spot up 3 shooter for from the corners.

Kessler makes much more sense, he still is signed for the following year and is only making 4 mill . Salary /value matter .Include the picks if needed.

Ingram makes a lot of sense in setting up a future post LeBron

I don’t know if I want to watch the lakers get blown off the court again tonight lol

With Rob Pelinka as our GM I doubt that can happen

Same question I asked of Westbrook, I'll ask if him, "Why sign up to be a scapegoat?"

I just can't see the Pelican's giving the Lakers Ingram, just on principle and hurt feelings. I mean, AD forced his way out and then they are just going to do us a solid and trade Ingram back? They lost Ball and Josh Hart and then they didn't take this years pick from the Lakers and they draft Knecht with that pick. I'm for it but its just hard to see.

Thank God, Lakers don't need BI, we need 2 way wings, athletic guards, and athletic bigs

Lakers should target Ayo Dosunmu. Two way point guard / wing. Nick Richards is good choice for center. Double double and 2.5 blocks. But tbh I just don’t want us to trade for Jonas. If so might as well try for Vuc and Ayo.

💎Lakers 1st and main trade should be for a 2-Way Guard that can share the floor with Austin. Someone that compares to Jrue Holiday or Derrick White. If I’m not mistaken the only available option is Bruce Brown Jr.

💡2nd trade should be to obtain Jonas, Time-Lord or any low cost rim protecting big.

If Pelinka can squeeze a 3rd trade to revamp the bench then perfect trade deadline for him. If not… then Lakers can settle for 2 trades and make a push to the playoffs with the hopes JJ can max out the effort of his current bench unit.

I think it’s a double edged sword, Jonas isn’t good, doesn’t play defense and adding someone DFS will improve our defense but will not generate offense if his shots not falling, getting BI doesn’t improve our defense but improves our offense just by being on the court cause teams will have to apply pressure on him instead of just blitzing AD and Lebron, I’m honestly leaning towards BI I don’t think who’s on the market makes this lakers team a top 5 defense so at this point I’d rather win by outscoring the opponent

Durability Concerns: Adding another player with a history of injuries might increase the team's fragility, especially when two key players already have availability issues. Two-Way Guard Need: The current guards—Austin Reaves (AR), Dalton Knecth, and D’Angelo Russell (DLO)—are all skilled offensively but lack defensive prowess. A two-way guard would help shore up perimeter defense and balance the backcourt. True Center Gap: If the roster lacks a reliable defensive anchor in the paint, this can lead to issues, especially in playoff scenarios where rim protection and rebounding are critical. Offensively, BI adds shot creation and scoring, but the team already has potent offensive options.
Defensively, he’s solid on the wing but doesn’t address the need for a lockdown perimeter defender or a dominant rim protector.
Fit-wise, he could duplicate skills already present rather than complementing areas of need.

Lakers need to go all-in on athletic defensive players. Bruce Brown, Schroder, DFS, etc.

How does BI address our issues with defence and lack of center?

I think we should keep it simple and attempt to get dfs, Dennis schroder and Day'Ron Sharpe
At least we know Dennis lebron and ad play well together
