And so a noon, the last legionnaire’s feet crossed the threshold of that Hell that men and demon alike feared with passion. The flaming brimstone door was shut, three days hence. And upon the third day, at midnight, the portal was opened once more, fire and brimstone bursting forth unto the night. The legionnaires walked from that underworld without fear, their helms concealing face and eye. Thus the door of Hell was shut, in that unholy place, by greater men than we, and so we are safe.
