Chelsea fan, this is just like complaining about teams scoring from dribbling, I mean it’s football.

What's wrong with a Plan B when looking for a win & Plan A isn't working? Roberto Martinez put it well: ""The uniqueness of Arsenal's work is that they always find a little trick that makes things impossible to defend if the delivery is right." If ManCity was doing same thing, everyone would be going "Wow, what a genius he is!". Arteta & Arsenal deserve huge credit for re-inventing the wheel & making corner-kicks into such a powerful weapon.

Arsenal players drag, push and block defenders absolutely within the rules, to allow their players space to do damage.

What's the issue?

Stand in front of a guy? No foul.

Run to front post, player follows. No foul.

Push against player who's pushing and grabbing you? No foul.

Goal? Job done.

That is how it works.

Makes me laugh the anger from rivals there having a meltdown

I’ve never seen a team so scared of Arsenal taking corners, those Man United players were literally shaking! Arsenal getting more critics than a team shatting themselves for 45 minutes over a corner being taken 😂

I think the team selection, Formation and gameplan by Amorim was worked on from day one after he arrived at Yoonited. This was his best shot to get one over the Gunners becoz of the surprise factor. Arsenal would have a lot more information about his tactics and formation before the next game against them.

Mr. Merson . . " Arsenal get a set-play they go one nil up and they could have won by more in the end bar an unbelievable save by Raya to be fair at one nil " Whats he saying ?
Arsenal could have scored more in the end if it wasn't for Raya's save 🤨I'm left confused again from Mr. Merson.

The corners themselves are fantastic. The rushing into the box while shoving players and bumping into the goalkeeper is also a big part of why the goals are being scored. If the way they are making space isn't against the rules (it is) then it should be. If it goes on, all teams should be lining up the way they do - it's clearly effective, and it's potentially a free header every time....though I suspect there will be a crack down on that type of play before too long.

Until the other teams work out this latest innovation:
BACK-SIDE goals. Where the hands are used to push the defenders and the backside is used to score

When he talks about Forest doing to Liverpool is a one off that will never happen again the only way to beat Liverpool is high press and the keep back more compact see what Newcastle did😅

Most teams have defenders that can head the ball away. You can't rely too much on the keeper.

Since when did scoring from Set-pieces become an issue in England! It is all over the news.

I can't believe this defending from arsenal's opponents.

They should abandon the side nearest to corner and line-up with Arsenal facing the corner.

It's easier to defend running towards the ball with opponent than letting in get in front.

Wasnt a clever idea for Amorim to make 6 changes vs Arsenal having won 4-0 previous game even I know that you dont change winning formula gotta keep the momentum

You can not play so casual like that against team like arsenal they should atleast defend till 90 min

Arsenal had 13 corners and scored just two, what the fuss is all about? Some United and rival fans asked for corners to be dropped from games, but only for Arsenal, how desperate other clubs are? Some failure coaches came out confessing they asked PGMOL to target Arsenal instead of creating the same opportunity for their teams and coaching their teams to be as good as Arsenal, these anti Arsenal should be ashamed of themselves

Liverpool stopped them scoring from a set piece and indeed scored one of their own against Arsenal.
