I don’t think anyone I know understands how much this hurts. This is the most Larry song ever. Louis should’ve released this, they were so young and they just wanted to be in love and have fun together. Management ruined that for them, they couldn’t even physically hug each other for the longest time during 1D days. It hurts so much hearing these lyrics and songs like this because I’m imagining I’m in this situation. I’m imagining that I’m facing what they have to/had to their whole career. Imagine how Harry and Louis actually feel. It’s not even my relationship and I’ve cried over so many of Larry’s most heartbreaking songs and moments. But this song, I definitely cried for 20 minutes. It breaks my heart for them. The world is so much more accepting now, but the music industry and the control over both of them is stopping them from coming out. I love Larry just as much as another, but no one understands when I tell them that I am crying over these boys. Always in my heart 💚💙

this song is so fucking confrontational. Louis always talked about not wanting to grow up, being the eternal kid, never wanting to lose that joy of being innocent and without responsibilities.. And then he had to grow up way faster than he would have liked, and he hurt his loved one in the process by trying to hang on to something that wasn't there anymore. It feels like now he knows who he is, finally, after a break from all the hustle, and now he's willing to open up and apologize. It was the right person at the wrong time, but now it's the right time and he's not sure if he has the person anymore.
