My heart is just broken. First aqua teen hunger force was canceled, now, squidbillies? What is wrong with adult swim ? Don't get me wrong, I like Tracy Morgan, he's comical in his own way, but having him voice early ? Seriously? I don't know, hopefully this is all a joke and eventually the creator's will come to their senses and realize they cant do it without baker and reconvene making more seasons, but then again, who knows?

I mean... you can't replace Unknown Hinson, but they could've found a voice actor who sounded at least somewhat more similar. I feel like this is more of a deliberate statement than an effort to continue/wrap the series up.

why didn't they just let the voice actor at :12 seconds do early. He sounds so much like him that I think it might be unknown himself just with a higher pitch

I honestly think they know EXACTLY how off it is and they're fine with it. The animation for it was probably done or they were contracted for one more season so they chose to dump on it as hard as they could by choosing T.Morgan doing...something *mildly* different with his voice. Like letting him eat in the booth or something...Idk just sounds like he got something in his throat ;) lol (Just my theory)

Long-time fans will be unimpressed by this, especially those out of the loop. Nothing against Tracy Morgan, just figured they’d go for more of a meta angle and play the VA change off as a joke.
Squidbillies ran for 12 seasons and switching the main character’s voice so drastically during the last season changes the impact of every joke.
Adult Swim should’ve replaced Early with a similar sounding actor but I think this was done to spite Unknown Hinson.
Honestly though, what did they think was gonna happen lol
