Hey Kirk I love watching your videos, if you found stray dog he's probably never been hunting, He was sniffing around the second tree some that the bear went up, if you could let him tag along a few trips he might pick up whats going on if he starts messing with your regular pack of dogs you take hunting then it would probably be time to leave him at home Slim is a good looking dog hope he does good when he's ready, Be Safe and Have A Blessed Weekend ✝️

I don't know for you guys, but here in Europe we are going to hunt a little bit different. We use dogs also, but not so much dogs like you. Our one dog when you let him go must be able to search one big terrain, he must go alone about 2 miles around you just to find some fresh track, and then when he finds big wild boar or brown bear, he will stay there and bark all day at him if it is needed. After we hear that he found something, all hunters will spread out and make a circle around area where the dog is, and then one of the hunters will let the other dogs go (usually are that some younger dogs who learn what should they hunt), and then they will attack that boar or bear together and scare him of, so he will come directly to someone of the hunters who are waiting somewhere around that area. That is the way how we hunt in the East Europe, and this way of hunting was very good for a long time, and yes, we can't let all dogs out at the same time, because we saw a lot of times that some hunters never find their dogs, the reason for that are wolves, in the night is their hunting time.. Some of my best deer hounds and field trial hounds were picked up beside the road one took me 3 weeks to catch she loved running with my dogs but finally I earned her trust she ended up winning king of the swamp a deer trial her in Brunswick county NC in 2014. Sometimes it’s all in how well you take care of them. You take care of them and they will make you a proud hound owner

You should do a video where you show us everything you use for bear hunting like all the leashes collars tracking gear the stuff and then the what kind of box you use for your dogs cars just like that stuff so we know what you use the Bears with walkie-talkies tracking systems just all the stuff that you use

I was just thinking about Tron. So glad to see him and get a chance to hear his voice 💜🎼🎵🎶🎻. Man I wish I had room for stray dog he would be perfect for me. Nice hiking companion. He acts like someone dumped him. He did not want to get left behind again. 😪
