Just the thought of Naughty Dog developing a medieval game makes me excited, that could be something truly special.

I'd love to see Naughty Dog release a game simply titled "Joel", in which we get to experience his first 10 years of the cordyceps apocalypse, immediately following the death of Sarah.

Jak 2 blew my mind as a kid and 3 was great as well. Would love them to do a Jak 4 with a more realistic take like all that concept art that leaked. Rift Apart proved platform shooters are far from dead.

I really want a Mayan game. The myhtology has sooo much potential especially the story of the Popol Vuh, the story of the two young gods going to “hell” to play the tournament. It has so much potential for some dark story

I’ve always wanted BioWare to do an in-universe period piece thing in Mass Effect like make a game about the First Contact Wars.

My brother in Christ, when I heard you say Jak & Daxter my face morphed into the biggest smile. Modern Naughty Dog can DEFINITELY nail J&D - Jak 2 and 3 style. An open-world action-adventure game with epic sci-fi/fantasy elements, morphing guns, flying cars and dune buggies sounds hella modern and perfect for ND.

Hey Jake! Love the videos. I was wondering; how big is the actual Gameranx team? I know that most of the voiceovers on the videos are either you are Falcon, but how many people are behind the scenes as well?

Naughty Dog needs to make Way of the Warrior II.

The only context in which someone could use the words “gameranx” and “not enough lists” in the same sentence

Holiday memories: Christmas 1996 I’ll never forget hooking up my N64 and playing Mario 64 for the first time. Even my dad was impressed with the jump to a fully 3D world where you could interact with the environment and go anywhere. It was a special time.

Also another Christmas when I got my PS2 and Gran Turismo 3, with a cheap 3rd party racing wheel and some “surround sound” speakers, that were just cheap little 2 wired stereo speakers and a small subwoofer. I played GT3 well into the next morning. Great memories

If they do a period piece it should be in the late 1800s to WW2. There could be spies between nations or detectives that travel Europe solving a case or cases for governments, Nobility or just stumble into it while visiting a city. Agatha Cristy or French detective Piorro or Miss marple types, those books in a game setting of information gathering but maybe have a litter bit of fighting or chases and escaping dangers while solving the problem. It would be a great for a story based style

You immediately saying, Jack and Dexter made me so happy I feel like people are going to forget about this game and it’s going to fade away and obscurity😭😭 I hope I get a remaster before I pass away. This game was my childhood.

Jake, your memory of getting a PS1 for Christmas is great! My fondest memory of receiving a game system for Christmas was the original NES. Everyone thinks the Xbox Series/PS5 console shortage was nuts, but let me tell you: the original NES was nigh-on impossible to find during the first holiday it released. Image trying to locate a Xbox/PS5 without the internet. No checking availability online, store employees not answering phones or giving dodgy answers about availability, and having to rush the stores in person, one by one, from Black Friday through Christmas in hopes of getting your hands on one. The reason it was special to me is I wanted one so bad, and my mom searched forever and told me not to get my hopes up. Turns out, she was able to get one at Toys 'R Us (remember that store?!) because someone had tried to steal it, got caught, and the store just so happened to have it "in the back" when my mom showed up. Imagine my delight when a brand-new NES with the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo was sitting under the tree.

You're so right about PoP: Sands IMO. I did enjoy the others and remember thinking the concept of the sand/dark prince was so cool when I was a kid.

In terms of gameplay, though, I felt that Sands nailed it and the others never really managed to capture the same magic of the original (original for that trilogy, at least).

I'm so scared that the remake/remaster will not happen or will be bad...

You’re such a cool dude Jake. Really, I am genuinely and throughly engaged when you’re talking. I’m a relatively new gamer and I learn so many things from your videos. Always wishing you the best!

My mom rescued a kitten from a Busy street a couple of months ago... Decided to name him "Sir Paw McCartney" and the rest of the Family (Dog and 2 Cats) fell instantly in love with him. He's just the cutest little Goofball and just does whatever he wants to do lol 😅
