I learned hand stitching at 4, I learned sewing at 8, I've been sewing most every week since 2011, I am a manager in a sewing and textile store.

I was expecting to cringe, but really, i'm actually proud.

This should be a recurring feature in this series--the girls could sew evening wear, swimwear, Halloween costumes, etc, create their own patterns, use their own clothes as patterns. And, if the budget gets too small to hire another real fashion designer, talk to me! You could also do knitting, crocheting, weaving. I've been sewing and knitting since I was 7, so this is a real treat to see other girls trying this and succeeding.

Lol it's okay, guys. I broke every machine in home ec when I was in middle school, and now as an adult, I've sewn dozens of elaborate costumes. Practice makes perfect :)
