DIY Cheap & Effective Deer Fence to Protect a Vegetable Farm!🌈🧛🏾🧄

In this video, I show the process for how I built an affordable (maybe somewhat temporary?) yet still very effective, deer fence around my little vegetable farm.

I recorded this footage way back in spring, and only just now I FINALLY have the time to actually edit the footage together and upload it, hence the lack of snow in the video! But I can say that for the entire growing season, I had absolutely no issues with any creatures larger than a rodent... (the rodents still got into my turnips! grrr...)

Last year (before I built this fence) it was a completely different story, the deer decimated my crops. So I know for a fact that the deer pressure is very high in this area, and I know that the deer community knows that there is lots of yummy candy for them here BUT THEY CAN'T GET IT! HA HA! LITTLE BRAINED DEER!

And last but not least, please make sure you all stay safe during the vampire apocalypse!! 🙏🏾🩸🧛🏾🧄

The chord along the top is a great idea! My husband says he had a plastic fence like this years ago and SNAKES would get stuck trying to go through the plastic mesh. Very tricky to cut them free, if they're still alive! I'm about to put up a temporary plastic fence now and I'm thinking of lifting the fence off the ground about a foot to allow snakes to pass through. I have a deer problem, so not so worried about rabbits. But, dead or entrapped snakes are horrible....Anyone have any thoughts on this problem? Thx for your video!

That's perfect. No more or less than what you need to keep those buggers out. What fence material did you use? Have a link?

I wonder how this plastic mesh is durable. Can this get damaged?
