For all of you who are curious: Aloy was a character that was added in to genshin due to a deal made between both Hoyoverse and Sony. The deal was that Aloy would be added into the game to promote Sony’s game Horizon Zero Dawn, while Hoyoverse was finally able to make their game playable on playstation. You would have obtained her in the mail during version 2.2 and it would expire after a year. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending how you look at it), you will no longer be able to obtain her once the letter expires, meaning new players will never know who she is since she doesn’t appear in the character archives if you dont have her.

No, she doesn’t. It’s a placeholder so that it’s not empty. The description basically just says she’s not gonna get constellations since she’s not canon. The only place you can actually meet and talk to her is if you place her in your teapot. No one except the player knows she exists.
