Hi All, can AltMill CNC tile? Like if i wanted to cut something longer than 4ft, it do that??

When I assembled my Altmill the large X gantry extrusion didn't mate well with the left side Y gantry plate. I had to force it into place using the clamping method and it still sticks out about 1mm, while the right gantry plate is fine (completely flush). Is that the extrusion manufacturing issues that you mentioned? How worried should I be about this issue? Will it affect my Altmill accuracy?
