I can remember being absolutely thrashed by Eric Bristow at the pub I played for in Sheffield in the late 1980s. Every person he played against he treated them to a set of arrows and a drink.

Most enjoyable - thanks for this presentation. I have been enjoying recreational darts for years. I still watch the Premier League on the tele when I can find it in the programming. The crowds are fun to listen to and the players are great to watch. The skill level is always top-notch. This game needs more coverage for sure.

A young Eric Bristow had the look of a Roman statue. Some ancestry there left over from the Roman occupation.
