We have this seat and we were in a accident with our child and this did not happen i think maybe cr is supported by other car seat companys

can you test the seat with the replacement part/fix??? we just bought this seat recently, ...i did install the fix on mine already... i do love it but this scares me! my daughter is too tall to be RF

I am so surprised about this. After watching this, it will have a big factor in my decision of not purchasing it. I was just looking at reviews for this car seat because we have decided on getting this for my son for rear facing since he outgrew his Britax. But in the long run to use as forward facing once he is older. My husband want this seat specially because he is familiar with the Recaro brand racing seats and how much quality is put in it. Very disappointed.

I would argue that if there has never been a field failure, then your testing does not emulate real world conditions and your results are there-fore invalid.. im not working on behalf of recaro, just stating that the facts dont line up. I have this seat, and I am also an engineer, and I have no concern with using it at all.
