I'm 71 and spent almost 36 years in the uniforms of our nation. To this day, Taps and the rifle volley at a military funeral still bring tears to my eyes. Rip Chief Kyle!

I was there on that bridge on that rainy morning in Midlothian, Texas overlooking Highway 287. Watching the vehicle that carried his body pass under me gave a young man who didn’t know what he wanted to do the drive to go and enlist. Thank you Chris, for everything you did for our country, and for what you inspired me to do.

I am German and a tear got me as i watched the film and searched the story behind it. I know you will now think... oh a german, they did so bad things. And you are right, but that wasnt me. It was the generations before mine.

I went to see this Film, this tune was played at the end, I couldn't leave the cinema until I heard it all. A great Film and great Theme Tune, but there was a great sadness about it as well.

R.I.P you are a true hero. I don't understand how people idolize celebrities but then hate on the men and women who sacrifice their everything for you. God bless you, Mr. Chris Kyle, and God be with Mrs. Taya Kyle and their children. It hurts me that we lost such a respectable and patriotic fighter.

From Kenya, I first heard of Chris Kyle after his death, I could not stop reading and researching about him. Too sad he had to go early and in such a horrible way. May his soul rest in peace.
