Minimalism does change my way of purchasing things or keeping things. I am not minimalist and I don't want to be but I am very thankful for being more mindful and have more control of my consumption behavior 💕

I’m a casual cosy minimalist. It’s not about having little to no belongings but more mindful purchases which you’ve discussed on a video previously. I can’t have a sparse house because it’s a family home and I feel that it’s important to be adaptable to embrace the needs of those we love ❤

My partner and I are minimalists in response to both of our mothers being borderline hoarders. People ask why our house is so plain. I wonder how people live with so much stuff everywhere. Gives me anxiety.

I feel like minimalism is an inside out process. After many years of working hard on myself, in my career and as a single Mumma, all I want now is peace.

Minimalism helps me feel it in my environment and conciously connect with my own values more.

I'm not all the way there yet, but in my heart it feels like the right thing to do, on many levels. And I need to listen to that. 🕊

Sooner or later, minimalism will be a necessity.

Minimalism is a lifestyle, not a trend

I've been a "minimalist" for over 30 years now. I consider myself more curated, only using the best, having the best for me and my lifestyle. I still live lightly and simple, just with more comfort and the nicer things I love and adore.

The minimalism is a philosophy of living. If you are at that place in your life, when you need to be more true to yourself than to continue to be people or social media pleaser, then you will find the way out through the process of decluttering. This breaking point is different for everyone, that is why trending topic or not, minimalism will find you when the time is right for you. What you do, Sophie, will be always a lifeboat for somebody out there!

It’s been 9 years for me. I refuse to go back to a life of excess and not being intentional about the things I purchase.

I think minimalism became so huge of a trend that it became almost cult like. Everybody started throwing out their stuff not truly understanding the whole point of minimalism only to fall back into being a consumerism. At one point, it meant colourless home, getting a thousand acrylic containers (more money out).

I wouldn’t call myself a minimalist, nor do I aspire to be one, but I like a super simple life and am not into heavy consumerism. I appreciate things that are worn and beautiful. I love art. I love to have a few beautiful ( to me anyway) things around my home. A few special, sentimental things. while I won’t be a minimalist I definitely get inspiration from you and a few other channels.
Have a blessed new year!

I think Minimalism is still a thing for those who are looking for the simple life ❤

Hi Brant here.

As far as minimalism goes, I like a healthy balance.

I like to treat myself every once in a while but working In retail I've seen people shopping like their lives depend on getting as many goodies as they can get their hands on. It kinda drives me nuts sometimes. I only buy brands I trust like American Eagle, Old Navy, and Nike because their quality is tops and not This fast fashion stuff.

P.S. I'd like to see you do a video about earthing and doing everything barefoot as Hawaii is the best place for it.
