Herdman Foods invites you to take a free tour of its modern plant to show you the process of making chocolate from the beginning to the final product. When you arrive, you will be shown a nine minute video in our new theater. This video explains the process of making chocolate from picking the beans to wrapping the bars. Later, you will be shown the different production areas such as: grinding, cocoa butter pressing, packaging and wrapping. A display table will show you all of the products and the necessary equipment to produce chocolate such as cocoa beans (unroasted and roasted), sugar, milk powder, cocoa butter and others. Finally, samples are given to our guests so they can taste the different types of chocolates as well as brownies made from our in-store brownie mix and our own special hot chocolate formula.

I think the gentleman misunderstood the question. Cocoa plants can be productive in 3 - 6 years. They will continue to produce for 25 years.
