Gandhi Jayanti: President Kovind, PM Modi & others pay tributes to Mahatma on his birth anniversary

President Ram Nath Kovind paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birth anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited Delhi's Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma. The PM said Mahatma's life & ideas will inspire every generation to walk the path of their duties. PM Modi also paid homage to India's 2nd PM Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 117th birth anniversary. PM said Shastri's life based on values & principles will always be a source of inspiration for all citizens. The PM visited Raj Ghat & Vijay Ghat, memorials to Gandhi & Shastri, respectively, to pay tributes. Several other leaders also paid respect to Mahatma on his birth anniversary. My great tributes to our father of nation "" Shri mahatma gandhi""" ( Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi)!!!! Born in wealthy family in porbandar, got married with kasturbaji in early childhood as per parents wish, got lawyers education from London, England, , , , worked for few years as lawyer in South Africa!!! Despite having first class ticket, being thrown out by British ticket checker, getting humiliated like this just because he was a coloured man(indian race) made him to think deeply in regards to treatment being given to his own indian countrymen in india ( when india was under British rule), he launched first successful satyagraha against Britishers misbehavior in South Africa, his arrival in india, getting welcomed by Indian people after his first satyagraha in South Africa, , , general people of india began to see a ray of hope in him as leader who via satyagraha can lead to independence of india!!! His principles were that of an ideal man like truth, non-violence and tolerance towards British torture and misbehavior physically( causing no harm to Britishers in reply to lathi charges))) no doubt all freedom followers dedicatedly followed Mahatma Gandhi's There was a wave of enthusiasm for freedom movement in whole of india!!! He was indeed a mahatma!!!(great soul under whose leadership Indian people belinging to all class became United))
