The Forbidden Black Color. You Might Get Sued!

Did you know there’s a shade of black so exclusive that only one artist is allowed to use it? This ultra-black color, known as Vantablack, absorbs 99.965% of visible light and is exclusively licensed to British artist Anish Kapoor!

But the story doesn’t end there. In response, another artist, Stuart Semple, created the Pinkest Pink—a vibrant color available to everyone except Kapoor! To push back against the idea of color monopolies, Semple later developed Black 2.0 and Black 3.0, some of the darkest blacks available to the public.

His message? "Art should be for everyone!"

What do you think? Should colors be exclusive to a single artist? Let us know in the comments!
