We just got our tile “done”. Insurance job. It was awful. The workers used 1/8 spacers and didn’t push the tile up against the spacer. So there was a slight gap between them, making the total gap more like 1/4. But because it was not the same for each one, the tile wasn’t fitting right. So every corner and edge was off from every other row.

Worst part, I mentioned this and the guys tried to convince me it was snug 1/8 and perfect. They even tested it out with a free spacer and realized every single gap was off.

I brought in the head contractor and he took one look and is now completely redoing it from scratch.

They are also starting over because they used Go Board on the floor, and didn’t seal the go board they used on the wall. I think this isn’t up to code.

Never seen such incompetence.

You can tell they made all their cuts with an angle grinder by how it skipped across the front of the tile on that niche area.
