Thousands join Berlin's LGBTQ Pride parade | DW News

Hundreds of thousands of people have taken part in Berlin's annual Pride parade. The event in the German capital celebrates achievements and calls for improvements in LGBTQ rights. In many other countries, gay rights lag much further behind, and LGBTQ people still face persecution. DW Reporter Lukas Wiehler met a father and son from Kazachstan who had a special reason to celebrate.

There is a difference between giving some rights to sexual minorities and taking it to the point of absurdity where people start to have the impression that they are the majority of society and the main cultural model.
