What’s really crazy is how his PC handles all of this. Even people who have PCs meant for massive battles can’t run this type of thing

I do want to say that I think the Germans would be very well off on their own handling 6 million.

Germans vs. 6 Million Zombies. This kind of reminds me of something else..

Nothing like seeing two former enemies team up against a common foe

3:46 Okay, explanation required. Flak (Borrowed from the German acronym for anti-aircraft gun) works using one of two methods: time-fuses or proximity fuses, or "Variable Timed" as it was called back when it was first developed to keep the real technology they used (radar) secret. These rounds would probably be the best choice against a horde like this, surprisingly enough, but it appears that the guns are firing High Explosive shells, which is basically just a shell filled with high explosives with a simple contact fuse on the nose of the shell. (High explosives produce a high speed shockwave, hence the name; a contemporary example is Torpex. Low explosives produce a lower speed shockwave, like black powder or Tannerite.)
The explanation you gave best describes armor piercing shells, which require extremely high velocity to penetrate the target's armor. The "88" was a high velocity gun due to its role as an AA piece designed to reach high altitudes (higher velocity means higher effective range), and was found to be so effective against armored ground targets that it was pressed into the field artillery role as an anti-tank gun as well.

The Italians probably joined the zombies halfway through.

6 million is an interesting number to pick for this ww2 challenge...

I wonder how those flack guns would do on top of mount Olympus. Wonder if they would rain fire down from up top the whole time.

With how sheer tightly packed the undead are, Artially just is having a pure field day.

It's perfect arty tactics

I don't know what's more scary, a horde of zombies in front of me or thousands of rounds being fired behind me

Zombie commander: ORDER 227 IS NOW IN EFFECT! PERMISSION TO RETREAT IS DENIED

It's no fun when there's no chance for the monsters to win. If you have a chokepoint game, reduce the numbers of defenders. It's not that complicated.

Having only one specific area that the enemy can cross is a great strategy in holding down the line and surviving. Just like the legend of the 300 Spartans against Xerxes’ army of Persians, it’s proven to be the way to fight when the odds are against you. And when it’s against the undead, you’re gonna need it.

German soldaten, "Never thought I'd die fighting side by side with a Bolshevik."

Ruskie, "What about side by side with a comrade?"

I am curious if the weaponry / bullets is limited or unlimited ammo?

As if not, things will change very quickly once those bullets run out.

They will eventually run out of ammunition.
