How cool would it be if you got to review a 67-72 C10 truck or Blazer?? Love the classic Reviews!

I'm 55 and I remember my grandmothers Chevy SS. Same color etc but with the 396. I would take this over any new car made today. Great American muscle car.

The "Heavy Chevy" 1972 Chevelle SS this car is a beauty in Flame Orange with the black stripes and roof. The on throttle action is a blast!

I had its upscale and often overlooked cousin as my first car in 1980, a 1970 Monte Carlo SS 454, also black over cherry red. What a car to have as young teenage male. Crazy amount of torque - actually a bit tricky not to peel out with its somewhat sticky throttle pedal. It was all about quick acceleration, the handling was only ok and the brakes were pretty pathetic for the speed you could quickly attain. Still, I would love to have it today.

My favorite reviews are your muscle car ones. I am Mopar to the soul, but Chevelles rock for sure. American Street Muscle rules! Sweet pulls, on throttle Joe!

I like how you point out old school unique features to the youngin's of today. Hood latch, single mirror, gas filler ....POSI etc. Thanks Joe.

The Baddest! 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6. By 1972 Horsepower power numbers were down.

My first car back in 1984 was a 72 Chevelle . No SS mine was kind of an oddball, must’ve been custom ordered. Only options were the 307v8 p/s p/b am radio. No carpet just a rubber floor! and cool body colored steelies with bow tie moon hubcaps.
My dream car would be the seldom seen 72 Heavy Chevy option. It was a more affordable alternative to the SS with several engine choices including the 402. Just couldn’t get the 454.
Great video ! Brought back some good memories! Thanks.

My mom had a 1972 Chevelle, but I was too young then to understand that one day, these car would become classic cars … and it ended up, unfortunately, to the scrapyard.

Great video Joe that brings back some good old memories!!!

A+++

This feels like 1972 all over again!! Except I was seven years old, and had more interest in getting a Schwinn Stingray with the Stik Shifter, banana seat, and the high handlebars than drooling on muscle cars. I'm glad I outgrew that phase!!

I had a 1970 Camaro Z28 clone. Built 350 with a Muncie M22 and a .373 Posi rear end. My best friend had a stock 1972 SS El Camino 350 with an automatic. (around 1985) Both were great cars. This video brings back memories. Thanks Joe! That Chevelle will make a new owner very happy.

69' and 70' are the epitome of Chevelles. In 69' the 69 was my favorite, when the 70's came out it took a while of seeing them on the streets before I liked them as well as the 69'.

My brother owned a Red 1971 Chevelle SS454. While not the performance dragon of the 1970 SS454, it was still rated at 365hp and if you put headers and free breathing intake with the cowl induction hood; you'd have more hp than stock, very comparable to the 1970 version. I loved the performance and styling of the beast!
