Have one myself, absolutely love it.  Along with my HM8118 I'm becoming quite a Hameg fan.  Can't wait to see what is next in the HMC line.

Great video review.
I like Hameg I used to have an analog osciloscope quite some time ago.
I still prefer my Wavetek Data multimeter model 52 is much older 1987 but it has at least 90% of the futures presented here + maybe some additional futures.
It can datalog and measure power, has complex programmable math functions but what I love most about is that it uses only 500mW when is ON and nothing when is powered of from the soft power button and this is with technology available in 87.
It was probably extremely expensive in his time but I got it recently for a faction of this Hameg multimeter.
The diode test has 5 current levels that can be selected from 1mA down to 100nA and at 1mA it will output 9.3V this will go down on the next level 100uA it will output 7.7V so I can test up to 3 white LED's in series.

Does it do ac power measurements? And can you setup sensors like on the rigol dm30xx? And is the range on the second measurement fixed, can one change it? Thank you.

Just wondering if you still have this setup and close at hand, any chance you could do a screenshot using the PC software again, but using the .PNG file format?
Is it any faster that way?

A quiet beeper isn't necessarily a bad thing on a bench multimeter, but you know how it is adjustable is always better, but how much difference does it make?

Hello Watt Circuit,

Do not be afraid to open the devices your review :-) otherwise the function reviews are pretty good.

Cheers

To bad it became rohde and schwarz, which means the doubled the price and ripped out what they consider "unnecessary options" like they did with the scopes.
Hameg made some great equipment of high quality and packed with options which cost a lot at other brands.
Now the previous hameg model line is almost gone and what remains costs 50% more and striped of all those nice options like 50 ohm/1 meg on the scopes, hdmi output and much more is gone.
Some of it doesnt even make sense like removal of the switchable input 50ohm/1 meg on a 300 mhz scope 🙄

Wish it was a bit cheaper. If it was under $500USD I would buy it.
