GripTec Pulley for Science of Speed S2000 SC

After seeing the smaller pulley have slipping , we wanted something to
give more belt traction with less belt tension.

Does the 8th and 9th Gen SI have this problem as well, with higher boost levels with the Kraftwerks kit?

Is it necessary to add an idler pulley if you go with the 3.2” griptec? Would I need to run e85 or is 93 pump gas sufficient with the PSI generated from the 3.2” pulley?

John, wouldn’t getting the ribbed area media blasted give a similar effect? Maybe not as well, but bang for the buck, it should be pretty good?

Do you prefer this to the ribbed belts on the Kraftwerks kits? Not sure, but I thought I heard they had some shearing issues on FA20 platform

"ScienceofSpeed recommends not more than 9 PSI for use with 91/93 (USA standard rating) octane." This is from the SOS site. Any thoughts?

I'm currently installing my SOS tuner kit and it came with 4.4" pulley (as per the chart on SOS site, that would generate 9 psi on the novi 1200 on my international 06 s2k).

Will definitely upgrade to a smaller grip tec pulley, but how safe and reliable is it? SOS does not recommend over 9 psi on pump gas with stock engine.
