No Mp can compel another MP to speak in any language. All Parliamentarians have a right to speak in any language they deserve.

As a Tamilian I myself got irritated and feel distressed by the idiotic activities of DMK MP's which even in this case, having translators, demanding an honourable minister to speak in the language she wishes senselessly, irrespective of that there are other members too

The difference in his attitude towards both the mps are well justified. The lady didnt demand him to speak in english, but requested him to. The guy straight off demanded a reply in tamil, which is not an attitude you show in a house. Given the translator facility, he should just respect the choice of language a person uses like how Shri Piyush Goyal ji showed by using the translator for tamil instead of demanding it in hindi or english.

There are translators for all the languages who translate immediately sentence by sentence and convey to the related MP thru speakers and mics. Moreover kanimozhi knows hindi very well... also it is their right to speak in their languages...

Tamilnadu M.P. Kanimozhi & her brother Stalin 's own schools (May be 50 schools Or above) in Tamilnadu are all English medium schools with Hindhi as 2nd language. No TAMIL there. Even Fine is collected in those schools if any student speaks TAMIL !!?

Why though? It's perfectly valid to not force anyone to adopt Hindi. But it's also important to not impose English on anyone. Opposition parties like these, focusing on things like this will ALWAYS stay in the Opposition unfortunately 🤦🏽‍♂️

Tamil Nadu MPs speak in Tamil and everybody gets the translation in their language of choice same way Piyush Goyal has the right to speak in Hindi. Kanimozhi did it to rake up language issue, Tamil people easily get fooled with this tactic. Tried and tested tactic of DMK since inception.

I see people fighting over languages.But we must keep one thing in our mind that language, caste, colour or religion none of these are greater than our beloved motherland, INDIA.We, the Indian army are always ready to sacrifice our everything, our language, family, religion, comfort to protect our beloved motherland from any outside agression. So please don't make Chaos from inside over language, religion and culture.Being divided we can't make our motherland great again but together we can make India great again.If tomorrow India gets divided on the basis of language or religion, I will just shoot myself rather than living in that seperated West Bengal with my so called 'BENGALI' identity. I will rather save my country or die trying. Nation is greater than everything. language, religion, family nothing comes even close to it.
