Thanks! A lot of places on the internet claim that Keyboard Layout Creator does not work under Windows 10, but it does. If your keyboard icon on the taskbar disappears after installation, you can also just log out and log in again, it works as well as the restart.

In Spring update of windows 10 2018, the language icon is not there at 0:53
Also "Language" isn't there in control panel at least on my computer, so instead you can do:

Press windows key and type "Region and language"
from there ---> advanced keyboard settings --> Use the desktop language bar when available

If you find out the keyboard does not display on your Windows 10, just increase the DPI of your monitor and everything will be show up.

it's failing when it's supposed to build a setup file. it tells me that the filename.c and filename. cr do not exist, which I would expect are files it's supposed to create itself, and not open them, so I'm confused about that whole thing..

Thanks, I had missed the setting of "use the keyboard...." thing. For all those asking if it will do this or that, simply run the utility and set whatever you want to then under project there is a place to check and see if it works. You don't have to save any changes but you can check. For those looking for a special character, do a google for Unicodes and enter the one you need.

It doesn't give me the option to switch keyboard like it does on your screen.
Oh I just went into my advanced keyboard settings> language bar options> floating on desktop

only problem is the name and description didnt work, tryed also modifying on regedit at Layouts and still says "US - Custom Keyboard"
