These are beautiful. I'm attempting faux locs on my daughter's hair for her 10th birthday. I have 2 questions. 1. I noticed you didn't tie the locs off after you wrapped them back up. How did they hold up over time? Also what does dipping do for them? Did you dip the tip or the whole loc? I was afraid she wouldnt be able to get them wet but this seems to be part of the process?
