Randomised Ischaemic Mitral Evaluation (RIME) Trial Final Results

The Final Results of the Randomized Ischaemic Mitral Evaluation (RIME) Trial was presented by Dr Kok Meng John Chan at the 2012 Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association (AHA) in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The RIME Trial compared Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery combined with Mitral Valve Repair surgery against CABG surgery alone in patients with moderate degrees of functional ischaemic mitral regurgitation.
