the games supposed to look like that, what kind of post apocalyptic world would look all bright and fully saturated. if u prefer to play with ur brightness down thats for u but its neither the right nor the wrong way to play the game. default brightness is just fine for me personally

It increased my fps by 5-6 and also you can tur off volumetric fog, it in total really give a smoother experience
