CROSSWIND LANDINGS during a STORM at Düsseldorf - Airbus A380, Cessna Jet gets thrown around (4K)

Imagine you are such a skilled pilot, you don` t even care about a hail storm right behind the runway with crosswinds coming from all directions. That Cessna Citation pilot got thrown around while a hail storm crossed the short final area behind the runway but he couldn` t care less. He got pushed away from the runway but just returned and aligned with the runway perfectly. One of the coolest crosswind landings I have seen in a while. Much respect!

I have absolutly no idea what was going on with that Sun Express Boeing 737 departure. The wind just pushed the B737 to the side and the pilots just let it happen. The Boeing was floating to the right and just continued its takeoff as if nothing weird happend. All in all the wind wasn` t that strong but it was a 90° crosswind this time. Usually when I am filming the crosswind is much stronger but its just a 40° angle.

The Airbus A380 was quite interesting aswell that day, especially the departure. Even this heavy bird got affected by the strong winds. I was quite happy about the sun which came out in the right moment. Pretty nice motif.

Emirates A380 was the nicest-looking one. Must be a pretty strong crosswind though. Even A380 was in angle position for landing and taking off. Thanks for sharing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Superb footage in one hell of a crosswind. Smaller planes are buffeted but the larger aircraft show the most dramatic effects - landing almost 45° into the wind and similarly twisting after leaving the ground to maintain stability. Fantastic the way the plane "levels up" after the nose wheel touches the runway. Great piloting prowess. Spectacular angles on the A380 as it accommodated the blast. Loved it. Thank you. 👍✈️
