Показать описание
We talked with Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities Director Laura Briefer about 2023 spring runoff. Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County are closely monitoring and preparing for spring runoff. Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities has started releasing water from Little Dell and Mountain Dell reservoirs to relieve pressure on the system. City crews are clearing debris that may clog drainage networks.
We advise that you follow these quick tips to protect your home and property:
• Ensure your gutters are free from debris (twigs, leaves, trash, etc.)
• Clear storm drains near your house
• Make sure your sump pump, French Drain, or any other kind of drainage system is in good working order
While sandbags were originally available at the Salt Lake City Public Utilities Office, they are now available at Salt Lake County Public Works Operations Division, at 604 West 6960 South in Midvale.
