this was spiritual for me, the tears flowed, I guess I never got it all out....what an incredible artist he was, he was a master story teller too....not everyone can sing and tell a story....I love this man and thank you for continuing to support good music.

Nothing makes me tear up like watching Jerry Jeff or Nanci Griffith, the world is a poorer place without them.

The fella on the harmonica played his part so well. Compliments JJW so well in this performance.

Stoney reminds me of the 70’s when it came out. What a great song. What a great artist. JJ never got the credit and recognition he deserved.

Saw JJW back on 1969 at Fairfield University in CT. Was always a fan. Got to see him again at The Broken Spoke in Austin for their 50th anniversary. He wasn't well. The miles and the years were showing. Ran into him again at a guitar store in Austin. We talked about Gibson guitars and his little dog Bear. He could tell a story, "made you never want to doubt him." Thanks for memories Jerry Jeff.

We lost 2 of the GREATEST story tellers of all time with JJW and Jimmy Buffett..
Saw them both many times, , , I feel the loss, because no one EVER will replace them...

I’ve seen JJW in Austin in late 70’s and love him still. His voice is like butter. Calming and lovely. Abby Brewer

Now Stoney, the original man behind "Stoney" is also gone, travelling together these two, down the Road again

This would have been his Birthday Bash Weekend when all of the "Walker Stalkers" converged in Austin to celebrate. Meet at the Driskoll in your starched Wranglers before the Paramount Show, picking circles everywhere ya turned, sitting in the side yard at Gruene Hall and waving at The Twins in their condo. Later that night at the Gruene Mansion Inn there was a picking circle that lasted until dawn. RIP Jerry Jeff!
