This is why i buy a new phone only when the price is really low, mostly in one or two new phones have nothing really new... Nice video as always...

I still have mine since 2018...just recently updated to android 10 and the phone feels brand new...and it's still way more snapy and powerfull than todays mid-range phones...it's one hell of a smartphone!

I've been using this phone for two years now. Still works amazing. Runs Android 10, battery works great, performance is brilliant. Actually it works so well that it's financially irrational to replace it. Lastly, water and dust resistant, wireless charging, always on display (oneplus provided it this year), headphone jack with quality dac and thankfully a fingerprint sensor on the back (in display fingerprint sensor is often slaggish and gimmicky in my view). Great video, overall.

Snagged a T-Mobile variant for 120ish on eBay a few months ago.. and that's Canadian dollars too 🥇 this phone will be good in 4 years honestly

It has a snapdragon 845, that's enough of a reason

I bought an LG g8 off if eBay for 205, amazing condition too. I would definitely recommend both of these phones, so much better than anything that is the same price range.

This a very good phone actually. Best phone in budget in my opinion. Very sharp and colourful display, amazing video quality. And that Snapdragon 845 just run every game very smoothly with higher graphics. And there is many more..you have to use it to know about this.

As an owner of an LG G7 Thinq for 2 years I have a couple things to say about this phone.

First, would I recommend one to somebody?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Hell no.

I put this phone in a case the very first day I received it. I never dropped it on any hard surface, I have never gotten it wet. And I didn't ever use it all that heavily. Despite that, it still has many issues, several of which have been ongoing for the last year.

It will randomly bug out and crash. The home buttons will get stuck on and not hide during full screen video, photos, etc. It captures multiple bug reports a day. Even though it uses USB-C for charging and data transfer, the port is very fragile. I can only charge it with a wireless charger now. If I try to use the USB port it will always slow charge no matter what cable I use. Thankfully I can still transfer data over USB for now, even if it is painfully slow. Yes I tried cleaning the port and resetting the phone to factory.

It will suddenly drop all cell service and not connect to anything other than wifi, the service bars will state there is no service, Even in areas I know to have full bars. Not a big deal at home, really annoying at work. Recently if I attempt to record video, it will crash the app and have to be reopened. This can also happen without warning in the middle of recording something.

Typing is becoming more annoying because I don't think the screen's touch input calibration is very accurate anymore. It frequently registers the wrong letter, even though I have my muscle memory built up to this phone for 2 years now.

My case is probably a fluke and is not very common. But honestly, even when it was new and working properly this wasn't a very impressive phone. Battery life is nothing special, camera is ok, I used it for almost all of my videos on my channel. Screen is alright. Performance was acceptable. Overall its just very meh. As cheap as it is now, it might be a good buy. I just hope you have a better experience than I did with it. I'm never getting another LG phone again.

Had this phone from august 2018-December 2019 before I swapped it in for the IPhone 11. Easily my favorite android I had and before I started abusing my fast charger the battery life was pretty great. Lots a cool features and a nice design as well. I just decided I finally wanted to switch. I will say that the value of it when I bought it was $750 and around a year later it was down to $480 which was unfortunate. Doesn’t surprise me it’s so cheap now!
