NASA announced the continuation of the successful collaboration with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) with the recent signing of an agreement to encourage scientists from both countries to use International Space Station hardware located in both countries’ laboratories. JAXA’s Tetesuya Sakashita, the science integration manager for JAXA’s “Kibo” laboratory module, talks about plans to expand on investigations in microgravity including inviting more countries to participate in this unique orbiting laboratory.
