Sullivan woman charged in Jan. 6 riot arrested on DWI in fatal crash

Emily Hernandez, the Franklin County woman who has a plea hearing scheduled for next week for participating in the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S Capitol, was arrested Wednesday in connection with a fatal accident on Interstate 44, her attorney confirmed.

Driving the wrong way, drinking and driving, attempting a coupe at the Capitol... Clearly this 22 yr old can’t seem to make good life decisions. Needs to be locked up for decades( if not life). Last I checked Volkswagen doesn't make a Passat in the SUV class. It looks more like a Volkswagen Atlas SUV not the Passat 4 door sedan. Four or 5 charges from the Capitol insurrection but reduced to a misdemeanor charge and now vehicular manslaughter with the DWI. Sounds like she needs an extended prison sentence and not the usual slap on the wrist.

She should have never been allowed to be on house arrest in the first place her being distraught is not bringing back those little boys mom and their dad is critically injured in the hospital I pray he gets better this is the Justice system we have that will let a woman who was caught on tape stealing from Nancy Pelosi's office and entering the capital illegally on house arrest and now the judge who let her out should be held accountable for releasing her in the first place
