The above text has nothing to do with ordination of women to the ministry of preaching of the Word of God, but rather to the matter of salvation of the soul. The context does not support the concept of ordination, of which had never happened in scripture to any female. "Beginning from the baptism of John, until that same day that He [Jesus] was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us [apostles] of His resurrection" (Acts 1:22], and for this cause, He [Jesus] "ordained twelve, [MEN] that they should be with Him, and that he might send them forth to preach" (Mark 3:14). Neither He [Jesus] nor any of His apostles did otherwise. That is what is written for our learning (Rom. 15:4). It is dangerous to alter God's Word. ( Prov. 30:6; Rev. 22: 18 - 19).
