For many years, fishermen have told tales of "El Demonio Negro" (The Black Demon Shark), a shark that supposedly grows to 50 feet long, and is pitch black in color. Does this tale have truth, or is it a case of mistaken identity? We share our thoughts.

Forget the Black Demon, I’d be more worried about the Red Devils. Refer to the ONLY episode of Monster Quest where they acquired evidence of a 60-100+ ft squid in the deep of the Sea of Cortez.

I remember as a kid my dad verifying a great white hanging out off of montak Long Island est 30-35 ft from the news dad said they saw it he est it was about as long as telephone poll..was it that big idk I wasn't there but even if it wasn't quite that long ya know it was a monster

Im from SE Alaska and saw the weirdest thing ever..Me and my family were canoeing out to an island We saw a few orcas which was scary cause we were in a canoe.. But behind the orcas we saw a strange ass thing that looked like a seal but it wasn’t. It had the shape of a seals head but the neck was long and skinny..We had no idea what it was we see seals and stuff all the time and this thing 100% wasn’t a seal plus a seal wouldn’t be hanging around orcas..

Great show, Baja is amazing. As a (retired) global diver and shark enthusiast, for multiple decades (yes, since I saw JAWS, hehe) and in the last two decades, much info has come to light, pertaining to a Megalodon. Any shark biologist and paleontologist will tell you the Megalodon went extinct approx. 3.5 to 3.7 million years ago, because 'biggie fishy need biggie foodie'...and they ran out of food sources, mainly because of the current evolution of smaller shark (still huge to us now) were eating all the food. Hollywood wants us to believe that a Megalodon was a giant Great White, but further studies show it was closer related to a mako shark, which both sharks are in the Mackerel Shark family, research Carcharodon hubbelli.

Listen, I was on 2 different shrimp boats and I can tell you, you will see weird humongous things in the water and some glow at night. I saw something bigger than the boat one night glowing and looked bigger than the 110 ft boat. The deck hand told me it was nothing and to keep working

Even in low light, the fishermen would see the white spots. They said it's black, not grey, so I assume that they would see the bright white spots.
