Up to a $50, 000 fine for every missing or inoperative smoke alarm, per bedroom. They say 7 people lived in this rooming house. Let’s assume there are 7 bedrooms. $50, 000 X 7 = potentially $350, 000 in fines for the landlord.

It’s crazy tho one big concern the government have to start implementing is that all the affordable homes being build in the city’s should have a rule that once you own another property you are not allowed to buy one cause what most people
Doing or buying them as investment properties and renting them out so that eliminates a possible family that really need one
