We drove the first and last Dodge Challenger to see how it evolved into what it is now… and to see why Dodge is finally putting it to rest.

Huge thanks to @jaylenosgarage for letting us drive his 1970 Challenger!

I like how Jay is just here without any introductions, like the cool grandpa taking the kids out for a day.

The black ghost is such an awesome story. RIP to the legend cop. Took care of his family and had a whole race career. What a man.

It's so sad to see icons like the Evo and the Challenger get cut from production. Last few years have been hard on the automotive industry (RIP Holden).

Jay's passion will keep him young all the way to the age of 128, probably.

R.I.P. to the car that introduced me to the supercharger whine. Dodge Challenger, you will be missed dearly 😔

Jay Leno clowning Nolan on riding the clutch is one of my all-time favorite Donut moments.

As a boy from Austria I didn't have much knowledge or appreciation for American muscle. I was all up in the Japanese import mindset. And then I saw the R/T Challenger in Need for Speed Carbon. And I fell in love. The swooping lines, the friendly face, the elegant shape all just spoke to me. 17 years later the classic challenger is still my favourite American muscle car and I'll never get the chance to drive one.

And now it's gone.

Rest in peace, legend.

"don't ride the clutch so hard" You could see the fear in Nolans eyes

The look on Jay's face while pulling the challenger suggests that he pulled cars 10 times faster than this, while the donut crew loses their faces. Absolute legend.

the og challenger is such a unique piece of machine. it is low like a sports car, it's got a long hood like a supercar, and it's acceleration is so raw, that even though it's just 130, you feel like you are about to die from going into the seat.
it truly was, and is, still one of my favorite classics. RIP. may you never be forgotten.

This was one of the saddest episodes I have ever watched. Im a mustang guy, but this car is an absolute legend. My dad owned a 1970 cuda 383 so as soon as I seen the cuda and challenger I was absolutely in love and it’s what got me into a muscle car and the love of a v8

I would have melted into my seat if Jey Leno told me to stop riding the clutch in his Challenger, way to keep your composure lmao

I have been working on a Hemi engine calibration program at Stellantis. It's a massive engine. Reliable, powerful and desirable. Literally a beast. It can easily put a smile on your face.

I made my dream come true by working on this program. Very proud by adding my thoughts on this legendary legacy. We'll see the next episodes!
