I just returned from a gameplay on dapa pack 6. Balanced sentiments, as the pass accuracy in general is decreased, which can really be infuriating. As for the auto-shielding, I don't find it a disadvantage, in fact it gives a challenge and offers the opportunity of double marking, which I really like. This data pack poses a real challenge, thus many players will like it, but it needs more balance to the players' moves, accuracy to the passes and a better tactic response.

I wish Konami told us what gameplay tweaks they make in updates. A lot of the time some changes are down to interpretation and placebo effect

I've had players switch while I was defending. I'd switched to the CB running central to block a possible Bale left foot shot, and it switched back to the LB and the CB stopped running with him, leaving Bale to have a crack. I've also had this in midfield where I've gone to cover low passing lines, it's switched player, the previous again stops running leaving a simple pass on. To add to this frustration, getting a teammate to apply pressure dosent seem as responsive. I've not had a problem with the through balls myself (touch wood 🙏🏻) and thanks again for sharing ✌🏻

Is there any way to turn off the advanced instruction notification coming on screen at kick off? I prefer not to let my opponent see what style i'm playing

Have you noticed when taking corners, the ball goes to the near post and the player will attempt a scissor kick every time.

Still the same issue with the AI playing like Barca in the box. On ML I've noticed that my defenders purposely have loose touches and make mistakes..

I hate the animation when you get tackled. The player always stumble forward giving the opposition the advantage

Unless I misunderstood what you were saying with the FIFA comparison – isn't that misplaced? One thing FIFA players always comment on when they come over to PES is how there aren't enough button commands and everything is contextually triggered. The thing that most annoys them is auto-shielding. If shielding has become even more automated, that's a direction away from the button-command way that FIFA tends to do things. I'm a fan of auto-shielding in general, but I do think it needs careful tweaking. I wouldn't mind a merged system: command-based, but whether the shield comes off is contextual.

I noticed the crossing as improved with this patch as i scored 2 headers in 1 game and i can't remember doing that also the through ball are not as accurate as before as i played a few poor through ball as well.

Seems like goalkeepers are better too. Just had Kasper Schmeichel play an absolute blinder against me.

PES 19 is the crappiest version so far. Referees are awful (blow when they not supposed to and do nothing when they supposed to), goal keepers aren’t so active (teammates last touch the ball and then rolling to corner) - they’ll rather watch the ball to go corner than run for it even when you command them to.
I stop playing a long time ago and waiting to see changes in PES 20

Through balls were already overpowered. I have to use manual if I want to do one, which kind of makes the through ball button pointless.

Just played a couple games and it felt way more zippy to me. Like I was controlling a pinball machine - my players positioning felt better and I just held possession more. May be because I was playing on a lower difficulty than normal (as I was playing with a custom league), but it did feel more responsive

Spoony, if I have an edit file installed with updated kits, does updating to data pack 6 bork the game?

biggest change is I`m winning more. the update has made the game a bit easier on superstar for me
