I'm 61 and I've only been to 5 R&R concerts in my life. No groups could ever produce live what they did on their records and the crowds were unruly. Went to see David Wilcox in a Lutheran Church in Katy, Texas. Absolutely amazing. My father lives in Madison, Wisconsin. I live in Houston. Tommy, I'm going to try and get tickets to your August show and bring my father. It's a father son bucket list thing.

Wow - that tempo change at 2:00 was very much unexpected. One of my teachers always said to try for that and not play cliches. How anyone gives this thumbs down is beyond me.

Mastery. And it isn't "I'm going to show you how fast I can play" arrogance. It's pure joy. I don't know of anyone else who has so much fun playing for others' enjoyment. It isn't how fast you play (and TE is FAST), but how well. A humble and generous man.
