3 year old Baby Mia getting hair shaved

Shaving our kid's hair for summer and so it can hopefully grow more thicker and even.
Mia was born with a full head of hair and as time goes on it is getting stuck together.
It was also getting hard to clean and so sweats a lot when its hot so we decide to shave it.
Mia really hates hair, every time she finds one on the floor she would say ewww hair and ask us to throw it away.

This was hard to watch. She's extremely traumatized. She obviously has trichophobia, so she shouldn't be subjected too this. With it being this serious, either let her keep it long, or keep it permanently shaved before it gets long to where she sees loose strands. It's scientifically proven that shaving hair does not cause it to grow back thicker. It will get thicker naturally with age.

The “cultural belief” that says hair grows back thicker after shaving it is just factually incorrect. As for what it could hurt? It very clearly hurt that little girl. If you’re so determined to force your child to endure a traumatic event because “culture” at least don’t be so grotesque as to film how upset you’re making your kid. That was a very mean thing the mom did. Especially after the little girl so emphatically said she didn't want it. Should shave the mom bald against her will and see how she likes it. She ain't fit to be a mother.

Even though it might help for the parents it won’t for poor Mia. The fact the mom is laughing when Mia said I don’t want hair like daddy is just really really upsetting. Parents should stop doing things like this it scars the children for life. It might not seem bad but she will always remember this. This is just cruel. I also realised she is asking the dad to help and the dad is just ignoring her. Mia deserves better.

I wouldn't do this to my daughter. If I had a daughter, I'd want her to look pretty. I would trim her hair a bit, but not bald. You see how unhappy this little girl was.
