I’m not trans or gay but I find the one where the trans dude is super happy about being called sir truly wholesome and sweet. Looking at the pure joy of somebody being accepted really makes me happy. Happy is the only way I could choose to describe how I feel when I looked at this little cartoon.

Fun fact about chickens! If you have a flock without a rooster, it's common for the most dominant hen to take on typical rooster beahviour, and even start producing more testosterone.

We have four hens and no rooster, but over the last few months our most dominant hen has started crowing in the mornings, and her comb and wattles have grown considerably larger! She also keeps an eye on the sky and alerts the other hens if she thinks there's a predator nearby, and on occasion she has even mounted the other chickens as a show of dominance.

I looked it up and while this is all normal, in extremely rare cases they can actually start to physically resemble roosters, like with their long tails, and stop laying eggs as the testosterone kind of starts to change their sex!

So a trans flag on a chicken coop is actually a really funny and in some cases very fitting!

*Fun fact:maybe 3 or 4 years ago when I didn’t know gays existed, I’d write fanfics with Y/N included..but I felt bad because I didn’t wanna misgender anyone, so instead of going she/he I said (Pronoun) and I felt so proud that I found a way to allow both females and males into my stories (even though they were hidden away in my notepads)

I have been that customer service person. I said, “sir your sandwich is ready, ” and he started crying. I was horrified. I had no idea what was happening until his friends explained that at the previous bar he had been misgendered and berated. It really put into context for me how a little bit of validation can go a very long way for trans people.

As a child, I never realized that the colors of the trans flag were the colors that I frequently used on characters in games. I just always loved them because it reminded me of sweets and donuts. 😂
