Gaming Scorpion vs Gaming Bed

The Scorpion gaming chair is an impressive setup. However, it is lacking in its ability to fully lay down and is very expensive. So, I decided to build something better, a gaming bed, for cheap. I managed to build the bed for about three percent of the cost. This is how I built a low cost gaming bed for disabled gamers to lay flat on their back and still be able to use a monitor.

You should buy green bed sheets and pillow cases so you can green screen your bed. It would look cooler that way.

You can try running a security line from your ceiling just for some extra peace of mind that the monitor won't smack you in the face if something were to happen to the arm.

I really appreciate this video guide. For the life of me i could not find a monitor mount that would tilt down for a bed setup until i found this video randomly. It was really helpful. With my poor health sometimes i end up pretty bedridden but now ill be able to play games still by hooking up a monitor to my pc with this mount

I've been gaming from my bed for 6 years now. Bed is 6ft wide waterbed and laptop lays beside me and printer at the foot. 56inch 'gamer TV' on stand on a stand at the end. I had to switch to a controller for most games though as I can't lay on my back, right side only. Looking forward to Starfield.

When I was in university, I took an Ikea lamp arm and old tablet attached to it using elastic bands (in hindsight, a magnet mount would've been better).

I then mounted it to my bed frame (which was actually the shelf off the desk that came in my dorm) so that I could watch movies in bed.
It was pretty awesome, not gonna lie.

I used to hang tvs for a living. For the absolute strongest wall mount you should use a thick wood backer board. Use wood lag bolts through the backer board into 2 different studs then toggle bolt the monitor mount through the backer board and dry wall.

hey bro what i dont understand is, why is your monitor flipped upside down? does it only work this way? i want to buy it but not sure because i dont want to affect my gaming performance that much flipping the image

VR headsets should also be considered and have many more uses. You can use it to game and watch movies laying down, then use it to workout/beatsaber/simrace etc. But may not be as good for streaming, so consider what your end goals are.
