DISCORD NITRO BOOST UPDATE, will effect YOU...

Discord is currently doing an experiment to have a major update in relation to Discord Nitro Boosting / Discord Nitro Boosts (otherwise known now as Server Boosting - although no one really knows it as that). This will impact everyone - even if you don’t have a Discord Nitro subscription, because it will predominately change the future of Discord Servers and their access to new features and exclusive perks which were once unachievable for many communities. In this video I will be speaking about these potential changes, to inform those around me about the consequences.

Discord in recent months have been really wanting to make Discord Nitro seem more worth it, they have added a variety of new features such as personal profile customisation, special abilities in relation to Discord Threads, access to more Discord Servers and more! Whilst also providing the ability to obtain Free Discord Nitro via special promotional trials in relation to YouTube Premium and also Epic Games / Fortnite - with all this in mind, Discord are clearly trying to push the boat out and get more people onto their subscription service. This new potential update almost confirms that completely. Upcoming on Discord, we could see the Discord Nitro Server Boost levels reduce in required boosts. Level 1 will stay as 2 Boosts, Level 2 will move from 15 to 7 boosts and Level 3 will move from 30 to 14 boosts required. This will allow levels to become more obtainable on Discord Servers, clearly having an impact on the Discord Server itself, the Discord Server Owner and frequent users such as the Discord Mod / Discord Moderators of that community. And these changes will also effect the wider members of the Discord Server - by improving the quality of the Discord Server experience for the majority of users. Most of these features previous were only obtainable from Discord Partner, but overtime they have become more accessible and this is just their next step.

In the background of this video, I am playing on the largest and biggest Minecraft Server in the world… Hypixel - and I am on the game mode Bed Wars. I think that this is good for server owners trying to get their server out there, they can advertise it as a level 3 boosted server as its much easier to get 14 boosts then the previous 30 boosts.

Honestly, it will save a lot of small servers were u can unlock level 3 with just 14 boosts.
Hope this change stays the same and gets released soon !!

Well, in my opinion, I'd say it's a good thing. Since some people don't have nitro or can't afford it, and people with two nitro boosts could basically just bring it to level 3 with no trouble.


This is much more better for small content creators/small server owners for they can set the vanity link of their choice and personalize the server to the max which can attract a lot of members. And that's big.

I think it’s a great idea BUT I feel like discord should add add a monetization aspect after 14 boosts, so the server owner will get 30% of the boosts sales from there server’s
