It is one of the most emotional encounters you can have with animals in the wild. Swimming with whales, humpback whales. Scientist have discovered that certain whale species have "spindle neurons " in their brains. bfore it was believed only humans and primates have this neurons in their brains, which are helping to process emotions and help with social interaction, besides other cognitive abilities. My personal experience makes me believe, humpback whales are perceiving and assessing our emotional state even earlier than we become aware of them. it is a life changin experience to be in the water with them.
