These guys were amazing entertainers, athletes and exhibitionists. I was a kid at the time, and I'm telling you, this was greater than the Super Bowl or World Series for me and my friends.

Kevin's injury was real folks. The chair didn't break the way it was cut to do. So his head got cut open and he got concussion.

1:08:42 and 1:09:23 - All these girls crying for Kevin, man that's powerful. We'll never see this type of emotional investment in wrestling ever again.

41:55 Sunshine arriving by helicopter was epic. We (the audience) would not see that type of entrance again until nine years later when Lex Luger did it at Yokozuna's Body Slam Challenge.

Hat's off to George Weingroff. A man who is legally blind, and can go like that is a testament.

The connection the fans had with the Von Erichs in the 1980’s is probably the greatest emotional connection we have seen with any babyfaces in wrestling history. As hot as Dusty, Austin, Hogan and Cena were, the Von Erichs/fans relationship was on a different level. The only instances that match that emotional connection in this match are probably when Elizabeth reuinited with Randy Savage at Wrestlemania 7 and when Misawa beat Tsuruta in 1990.

You could do an entire 12 part Netflix documentary just on the lives of the people in that 6 man tag finale.

Fun trivia ! When Kerry was arm wrestling Reed he had a small black x on the inside of his right wrist tape.. why??
A. For a blade, ( he didn't blade by the way).
B. To remember his name and where he was.
C. Right hand for arm wrestling.
Sorry I didn't think he was really bright.
So b and c are correct.

That Adams angle was so hot. It's Kevin's fault for being in two title matches on the same show.

So, was that head injury of Kevin real or not? They covered him so much, I only got a glimpse of the head and it really looked like a bloody back of the head. And a lot of blood on the apron. But that could still have been fake blood has his brothers had their hands all over his head. And the fact he didn't show up for the main event can also be both a work or a shoot. The only thing that made it feel fake for me was the ambulance, a bit over the top. But, if it was all work, then hats off to everyone involved.
