The two-day meeting of opposition bloc INDIA commenced on Thursday. Leaders held talks to chart out a concrete roadmap to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Ahead of the meeting, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a press conference, attacking the Centre and PM Modi on the Adani group issue. He demanded a JPC and a thorough investigation into the case, and questioned the prime minister's silence on the matter. The alliance is likely to announce a coordination committee, a logo, and panels to draft a common minimum programme for the alliance. The agenda also includes seat-sharing discussions and setting up a secretariat, to enhance the coordination between all the member parties. It is also speculated that more regional outfits will be joining the alliance during the two-day meeting

Watched the drama, nautanki of pappu doing a press meet right after coming to Mumbai, he was flashing news clips of how foreign news papers named Adani, Family and Modiji etc.., it is very clear that all the news media which he was flashing are running stories against Bharath and its progress. These are media houses who had vested interest in our country but could not push their hidden agenda as Modiji has held their nuts tight and they cannot spread rumors. I strongly feel Naveen Patnaikji CM of Orissa is a great leader who is independent with self respect decorum and decency. He never antagonises the central leadership but at the same time goes down on his feet seeking favours. He knows the art of ruling a state. Leaders like Mamatadi and Stalinji should follow him rather than join any bandwagon. Rahul should tone down a bit and should contest independently in all the states without worrying about the outcome. I am sure this will help him and his stature as a leader of GOP. Come out with alternatives rather than going after few people whom he needs when he comes to power.
